We believe that every child should have access to a quality adventure education.

We also believe that the adventure industry is the perfect vehicle to grow the resources to make that possible.

Rock Gear is formed to take on the big box outdoor chain retailers that send profits to banks, hedge funds and overseas owners. We want to win their revenues from their customers, and put them in the hands of the people in the industry that inspire the next generation of adventurers. 

For now, that just looks like a climbing gear shop, but we're different, and here's why:

• Our physical shops support real climbing centres with sales commissions, helping them deliver great climbing experiences to their customers. 
• We're 100% owned and operated by people who live and work in the adventure industry, full time, because they believe in it. 
• 50% of our profits go to funding places on adventure education activities for youths. 
• We sell great climbing products, at the right price, to real climbers. We're never going to reduce our climbing shoe range so we can sell you camping cutlery and a fleece.
